Day 1: Individual arrival in Edinburgh and transfer to your hotel. B+B Edinburgh.

Day 2: In the morning you proceed on a panoramic city tour of Edinburgh. No visit would be complete, without visiting the Saint Giles Cathedral, the high church of Edinburgh. In the afternoon there is still enough time to explore on your own. For example the castle, located high on the basalt rock or the residence of the Queen, "The Palace of Hollyrood House" to name but a few. DBB Edinburgh.

Day 3: We leave Edinburgh. Our first stop is Rosslyn Chapel. Here you can appreciate what craftsman and artist were able to create for the glory of God. In the afternoon you will visit Dryburgh Abbey, one of the most romantic abbey ruins in Scotland. DBB Dumfries or area.

Day 4: Today the southwest Scotland awaits you. If the weather is nice, we suggest a short walk, along the “martyr’s way” in Wigtown. Onwards, to "Isle of Whithorn". Saint Ninian founded here a religious community already in 4th century. In the late afternoon you reach Glasgow. DBB Glasgow.

Day 5: Today a city tour of Glasgow is on the programme. The St. Mungo Cathedral, the Necropolis and the museum for religious life and religious art are today's highlights. For your free time in the afternoon, there is still a lot to explore. DBB Glasgow.

Day 6: We head north. Loch Lomond is one of the most beautiful lakes in the UK. In " Kilmartin Glen ” stone circles and megalithic graves give testimony of long gone civilizations. DBB Oban.

Day 7: The holy island of Iona, and St. Columba, are the main topics for today. After a short ferry ride, you reach the island of Mull, where your coach will take you to Fionnphort for another very short crossing.
